We continue with Chapter 6 and the middle section of the Sermon on the mount (Chapters 5,6 and 7 of Matthew). It starts with three big practices for us: prayer, fasting and worrying. We will touch on all three practices but will spend most of the time with “Do Not Worry.” We as Christians spend far too much time and effort in worrying. We either believe in the word of God in the Bible, or we don’t. We try to say we don’t worry, and then add “But” to the saying. Let’s look again at the bright red words in Chapter 6:25-34 and see what it says about worrying.
