This position is for someone who doesn’t want an upfront role but loves kids. This position will help build students self-esteem, making each student feel welcome and cared for and help make new students feel welcome. These responsibilities do not rest solely on this person, because each staff member will have this as their goal. However, there are several responsibilities that will be specific to this position, which will in turn help other staff members be more efficient in their responsibilities.
- Take attendance
- Write encouragement notes/emails
- Build relationships with students at weekly events
- Help with crowd control and instructions
- Live as an example of a follower of Christ
- Offer support and encouragement to the students
- Gather new student information
